Table Top Skee-ball.

Table Top Skee-Ball brings the classic arcade experience into a compact, at-home game format. Designed for family game nights, rec rooms, and casual competition, the product recreates the familiar ramp, scoring targets, and ball-rolling play pattern of traditional Skee-Ball in a smaller tabletop footprint.

Brief: Create a compact tabletop arcade game that captures the fun of Skee-Ball while balancing gameplay, manufacturability, cost, storage, and retail appeal.

The design challenge was to capture the nostalgic feel of an arcade game while keeping the product cost-conscious, easy to assemble, portable, and appropriate for mass retail. The ramp angle, scoring layout, target visibility, ball interaction, and overall proportions were considered to make the gameplay feel intuitive and rewarding at a reduced scale.

The final design uses a compact ramp structure with elevated scoring targets, arcade-inspired graphics, and a clear scoring hierarchy to create an instantly recognizable play experience. The tabletop format makes the game easy to set up, play, and store, while the simple objective encourages repeat turns and friendly competition.
